As part of their ongoing expansion plans GF Laser have taken on additional space to support our growth plans over the next five years.
Additional space has been secured a few hundred yards away from our Narrowboat Way headquarters in Dudley which makes it an ideal location to support our ever growing laser cutting capabilities.
The 11,000 square foot building which includes excellent access for loading / offloading vehicles will initially be used for storing laser cutting material and fixtures for our five axis laser cutting service.
GF Laser have also celebrated its tenth year of trading this year, so they released a fantastic blog post about how they got there here.
Specialist in manufacturing and engineering recruitment, Jonathan Lee Recruitment welcomes the Budget announcement of extra investment in developing technical and technology skills in the future, but warns it is not a silver bullet to bridge the widening skills gap.
David Hale, Managing Director, at Jonathan Lee Recruitment said: “It’s great that the Government is recognising the value of UK manufacturing and the need to up-skill the workforce to exploit the exciting technology opportunities ahead. However, the investment being announced in 2017 will not address many of the immediate needs in engineering and technology businesses today.

We know how difficult it can be for employers to find and develop the right people; we know the headaches and the red-tape involved in taking on staff and the issues which regularly arise for companies.
