Young Inventor Award

The Made in the Midlands young inventor award aims to encourage creative thinking in young people and create the next generation of inventors.
Britain is the home of the industrial revolution and is known for its innovation and creative thinking.
Technology is rapidly evolving and we want to get young people who are considering their careers paths excited about engineering and making things again, so we can take advantage of the global opportunities that can help the regional economy succeed.
The Made in the Midlands Young Inventor awards are judged by a panel of industry experts and winners may even get their idea realised through member involvement.
Successful winners will receive a cash prize of £250 plus advice and guidance on how to develop the idea.
All applicants will be advised on how to protect their ideas ahead of any publicity. All information supplied to us will be used purely for the purpose of the competition.
